About the dmpi

The dmpi – Industrieverbände Druck und Medien, Papier- und Kunststoffverarbeitung Baden-Württemberg – is an umbrella association based in Stuttgart, under which the Verband Druck und Medien in Baden-Württemberg (vdm) and the Verband der Papier, Pappe und Kunststoff verarbeitenden Industrie Baden-Württemberg (vpi) represent their member companies. The dmpi represent members' economic, legal and social policy interests and advise member companies on topics such as reducing bureaucracy, the EU Deforestation Regulation, the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR), environmental advertising (Green Claims, EmpCo), food advertising, collective bargaining matters, and management and controlling. Another mainstay is education and skilled workforce development: the association supports training occupations such as media technologist in printing, screen printing and print finishing, packaging media technologist, and machine and plant operator, and offers seminars, in-house seminars, trainee seminars, events and annual conferences. In addition, there is consulting on technology and environment, digitalization, AI, data protection and IT security as well as recruiting services for members. The head office is located at Augsburger Straße 746 in Stuttgart.
