About INEOS Nitriles
INEOS Nitriles is a chemical company and, according to its own statements, the world's largest producer of acrylonitrile and acetonitrile. More than 90% of the acrylonitrile produced globally is manufactured using INEOS technology; the company possesses corresponding technological know-how and manufacturing expertise. Acrylonitrile is a central raw material for acrylic fibers (clothing, carpets), the thermoplastic ABS (automotive components, telephone and computer housings, sports equipment) as well as nitrile rubber, among other things for fuel hoses. INEOS Nitriles has developed a bio-based acrylonitrile that is marketed, among other applications, for carbon fibers, and supplies customers such as the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and Trillium Renewable Chemicals. The products are distributed worldwide.
