About INERATEC
INERATEC GmbH from Karlsruhe develops and manufactures modular Power-to-X plants that produce synthetic fuels (e-Fuels such as e-SAF, e-Diesel and e-Naphtha) and chemicals (e-Chemicals such as e-Methanol and Fischer-Tropsch waxes) from green hydrogen and biogenic or recycled CO₂. The core is the patented microstructure synthesis technology, which is scaled via numbering-up and designed for fluctuating renewable energies. The portfolio ranges from Power-to-Liquid and Gas-to-Liquid plants at demonstration scale (from 40 kg/h) to large-scale production plants (over 4,000 kg/h, up to 30,000 t/a). The production modules are manufactured at the Karlsruhe site. In addition to plant construction, the company offers feasibility studies, engineering, integration, maintenance, commissioning and operation across the entire project lifecycle. Customers come from the transport and aviation industries (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), the chemical industry and energy supply.

Raw Materials & Processes
Power-to-Liquid synthesis (Fischer-Tropsch)
Production of synthetic fuels and waxes from CO₂, green hydrogen and DMI water.
Gas-to-Liquid synthesis (Fischer-Tropsch reactors)
Conversion of synthesis gas (H₂ and CO) into synthetic hydrocarbons.
Power-to-Gas synthesis
Production of synthetic natural gas, among other things from biogenic sewage sludge as a CO₂ source.
Hydrogen (green)
Feedstock for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis; alternatively produced via electrolysis from water and renewable electricity.
CO₂ (biogenic/recycled)
Carbon source for e-Fuels and e-Chemicals, in part filtered directly from ambient air.
Fischer-Tropsch oil and wax
Products of the synthesis serving as the basis for e-Fuels and sustainable waxes such as MATERA e-Wax.
e-Methanol
Chemical basic material made from recycled CO₂ and renewable energy.
