About RefresherBoxx
Infinity StartUp GmbH, based in Aachen, develops and sells the RefresherBoxx, a device for removing viruses, bacteria, fungi and odours from textiles and objects – without water and without chemicals. Treatment takes about 30 minutes and produces no microplastics. The product range includes the RefresherBoxx S model for smaller items such as shoes, bicycle helmets or cuddly toys, and the RefresherBoxx M for larger garments; for the B2B target group there is also a management platform with app. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a healthcare version for processing respiratory masks and disposable protective equipment was developed within three weeks. The company supports its customers with operating instructions, self-help videos, accessories, spare parts and a repair service. In the Techfounders programme with Miele, a proof of concept was completed in 2019 showing that the RefresherBoxx eliminates both odours and microorganisms.
