About infochroma ag
infochroma ag, based in Goldau (Switzerland), develops, produces and distributes sample bottles, vials, closures and laboratory accessories for chromatography, pharmacy and industry. The product range includes autosampler vials, headspace and lyophilization bottles, special vials, closures as well as HALO® Fused-Core HPLC columns and laboratory supplies. An in-house cleanroom with ISO-5 laminar flow conditions enables the processing of vials into washed, particle-free, sterile and pyrogen-free ready-to-use products including crimping and customer-specific packaging (single to triple packed, small and bulk packs). Materials used include borosilicate glass of hydrolytic class 1, tubing glass, plastics such as polypropylene and glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide (PA6 GF) as well as aluminum crimp caps and butyl rubber stoppers. Every batch is 100% visually inspected; particle load, sterility and pyrogen-freedom are tested by accredited external laboratories, with batch-related CoA/CoC. The products are distributed nationally and internationally.

Materials & Processes
Borosilicate glass hydrolytic class 1
Standard material for vials and bottles, in clear and amber versions, for analytics and sample storage.
Tubing glass
For vials with uniformly thick walls, e.g. 10 ml vials with tamper-evident closure (GL 18).
Polypropylene
For caps and syringes in the laboratory sector.
Glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide
Cap material with higher hardness and better temperature resistance (up to 150 °C) compared to polypropylene.
Silicone/PTFE septum
Closure insert for vials, temperature-stable up to 150 °C.
Aluminum
For crimp caps, e.g. for pre-crimped sterile vials.
Butyl rubber
Stopper material for pre-crimped vials and bottles.
Stainless steel
For stainless steel migration cells (Sieg-Mi-Flex).
