Infoplus Blindow Namensschilder GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1983 in Hamburg and is a full-service provider of name badges, practice signs and custom signage systems. Manufacturing takes place in the company's own production facility at the Hamburg-Sasel site (Schierenberg 62), using, among other processes, laser and lettering methods (LaserContur), hand screen printing and digital printing. Materials are predominantly acrylic glass with polished or laser-polished edges, aluminium (anodized, thermo-lacquer coated) and V2A stainless steel for posts and spacers; finishes such as doming with a 3D effect complement the portfolio. The original focus was on signage for practising physicians and dentists as well as pharmacies; later industries, retail, sales, hotels, trade fairs and law firms were added. Services include consulting, layout creation, sample production, lettering and assembly services, event service, frame and call-off orders with weekly series production, and worldwide shipping via UPS. Before every production run, a layout is provided for approval; all signs are inspected before dispatch.

As part of the infoplus quality inspection, the submitted print data is reviewed and all manufactured signs are checked before dispatch. Before production begins, the customer receives a layout for approval; for orders of 1,000 EUR or more, an original sample is additionally provided.
