About the GENDORF Chemical Park

InfraServ GmbH & Co. Gendorf KG is the site operator of the GENDORF chemical park in Burgkirchen an der Alz, Bavaria's largest chemical park, home to more than 30 companies with around 3,600 employees. The company, with 1,100 staff, handles all cross-site tasks: supply of electricity, natural gas, steam, nitrogen, oxygen, compressed air and water, wastewater treatment, waste incineration and waste management, as well as plant, warehouse and container logistics with its own container terminal and rail connection. The service portfolio also includes plant planning, permitting management, plant construction, maintenance, environmental measurements, analytics and process analysis technology. At the site, within the production and material Verbund on around 200 hectares, approximately 1.6 million tonnes of products are produced annually, including PVC, fluoropolymers, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycols as well as amines and surfactants. Ethylene is supplied via the 112 km pipeline from Münchsmünster. The site is located in the Bavarian Chemical Triangle and is increasingly being opened up to deeptech startups as well as plastics and battery recycling.
