About Infrasolid
Infrasolid GmbH is a high-tech company based in Dresden that develops and manufactures high-performance thermal infrared radiation sources for NDIR gas analysis and IR spectroscopy. The basis is a patented nanotechnology for extremely thin, highly absorbent layers combined with self-supporting, monolithic metal-foil filaments made of high-melting metals such as tantalum and tungsten. The emitters feature hermetically sealed housings (SOLIDSEAL®) with sapphire or glass windows and are available in SMD packages suitable for automated placement. In addition to series production, the company offers customized radiation sources as well as a black-coating service for temperature-sensitive materials. Typical applications are found in environmental protection, exhaust gas measurement, explosion protection, building technology and medical technology. Production takes place at the Technologiezentrum Dresden-Süd site; since 2022, Infrasolid has been part of the iST Group headquartered in Ebnat-Kappel, Switzerland.
