Ing.-Büro K. Scheithauer VDI GmbH is an engineering consultancy for building services (TGA) based in Oberneisen, about 10 km south of Limburg an der Lahn. Since its foundation by Karl Scheithauer in 1973, more than 1,700 projects have been completed for private and public clients; the firm is now run by the second generation, Susanne Scheithauer. The electrical trade is offered in cooperation with partner firms specialising in electrical engineering. The services cover all HOAI service phases from planning through implementation to documentation, passive house planning, technical refurbishment studies with cost estimates according to DIN 276, operating cost and profitability calculations, review of contracting offers, and energy performance certificates for non-residential buildings.
