Ing. Dieter Breitenbach GmbH (Breitenbach Hydraulik-Automation) is a family-owned company in the field of hydraulics and automation, founded in 1974 in Frankfurt am Main. Its core business is the engineering, construction and installation of custom hydraulic power units and systems with drive powers up to 90 kW and pressures up to 700 bar, stationary or mobile, including electrical control, as single systems or series production. The media used are hydraulic oil HLP, water glycol HFC and clear water (clear-water hydraulics); in addition, the Frankfurt-based company offers ATEX units and water hydraulics. Since 2006, the company has manufactured its own Michel axial piston units of the swashplate design (9 pistons, 1 to 4,500 rpm, 0.01 to 9.65 kW) and tests every motor on its own test bench including leakage oil measurement. Three business divisions - power unit construction, sales and service - complement each other: maintenance, repair, oil service, hose assembly to DIN 20066 and mobile workshops. Over 2,000 manufactured power units in around 1,800 variants are used, among other things, in mechanical engineering, press construction, shipbuilding, mining and agricultural machinery.

Quality and Testing
Every in-house manufactured Michel motor is tested on the company's own test bench at all operating points, including fast leakage oil measurement with Hottinger Baldwin measuring technology and efficiency determination. The company bears the FGMA quality seal and is a certified HYDAC service partner.
