About Kurrle GmbH

Ing. H. Kurrle GmbH, founded in 1978 and based in Eberdingen (Baden-Württemberg), is an owner-managed family business that develops, manufactures and installs systems for in-plant waste disposal and waste logistics. The portfolio comprises automated WPA disposal systems, extraction systems and dust extractors, dust filter systems of the Optiflow series (from mobile extractors up to 250,000 m³/h), material separators of the KMA series (35,000 to 60,000 m³/h), baler presses, shredders, briquetting presses and conveying technology. Key components are manufactured in-house; projects include planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning including intelligent control technology. Extracted materials such as corrugated board, paper, cardboard, die-cutting waste, trim strips, films and lint are separated, compacted and returned to the recycling loop. The systems are in use throughout Europe at corrugated board manufacturers, corrugated board processing plants, packaging manufacturers, printers as well as recycling and sorting facilities.

Materials and System Technology

WPA

Corrugated board / WPA waste

Automated disposal and recycling of corrugated board waste from production.

PAP

Paper / paper dust

Separation and filtration of fine particles from the conveying air to keep breathing air clean.

KRT

Cardboard / solid board

Shredding, extraction and compaction of cardboard and solid board residues.

STZ

Die-cutting waste, trim strips, cut-offs

Direct capture at die-cutters and slitter scorers followed by shredding.

FLI

Films / lint

Separation of plastic films and lint from the pneumatic material flow.

KMA

Material separator process (KMA 35/50/60)

Pressure-free separation of coarse residual materials from the air stream as a preliminary stage before filter systems.

OPT

Optiflow dust filter technology

Negative- and positive-pressure filter systems with automatic cleaning and ATEX explosion protection.
