About JetCat
Ingenieurbüro CAT, M. Zipperer GmbH develops and manufactures miniature gas turbine systems in Ballrechten-Dottingen under the JetCat brand. The jet turbines are used in jet model aircraft, in drones, in research at universities and colleges, and for industrial applications such as stationary generators. The entire value chain is in-house: 3D-CAD design and verification, its own CNC machine park for milled and turned parts, toolmaking, plastic injection moulding on its own injection moulding machines, and laser welding of thin-walled metal parts such as combustion chambers. The rotor assemblies are dynamically balanced on precision balancing machines, and fully assembled engines are fine-balanced and, before delivery, tested in a dedicated test room with thrust, torque and power measurement. Around 100 employees ensure development, manufacturing, service and repair; the company is led by Dipl. Ing. Markus Zipperer.
