Ingenieurbüro Hannes Römbell is a structural engineering consultancy founded in Hamburg in 2019. Owner Hannes Römbell is a graduate timber construction engineer (Diplom-Holzbauingenieur, FH), holds a Master of Science in civil engineering (TU), is a trained carpenter and, since 2021, an expert for quality assurance in timber construction (SQSH) of the IFB Hamburg. The office handles new builds, conversions and rooftop extensions in timber, solid, steel and hybrid construction, covering all service phases from basic determination to execution and workshop planning. The service spectrum also includes excavation pit planning including preliminary static dimensioning, building physics (thermal, moisture, acoustic and fire protection) as well as structural inspections and expert report preparation. Project experience exists in residential construction, healthcare, public educational buildings such as schools and theatres, logistics as well as bridge and industrial hall construction. The office is located at Bernstorffstraße 120 in Hamburg St. Pauli.
