Ingenieurbüro Hemmeter, based in Thalmässing, has been in operation since 1976 and specializes in three areas: the design and construction of stretch machines, the support of companies in occupational safety, and enveloping work in the paper processing sector. The oldest pillar is the construction of stretch machines: as early as 1976, the first model D 1500 with a hand dispenser was built. Today, the range includes the stretch semi-automatic machines HAD 1500 N, HAD 1500, HAD 1500 H with lift-truck entry and HAD 1500 with pneumatic hold-down device, as well as individual custom designs, for example for oversized or irregularly shaped pallets or parallel wrapping with air cushion film and stretch film. All machines are manufactured at the company's own plant in Aue in Middle Franconia. As a safety officer pursuant to § 5 ASiG, the office primarily serves companies in paper processing and in the chemical industry handling hazardous substances. In addition, up to 200,000 mailings are enveloped on three Bell & Howell inserting machines.
