About us

Ingenieurbüro Hermann Schäfer GmbH & Co. KG from Dreieich is an engineering consultancy for municipal civil engineering. Its range of services covers design, planning and construction supervision according to HOAI service phases 1–9 in the areas of sewerage and urban drainage, water supply, watercourse development, road construction as well as structural engineering and small wastewater treatment plants. In addition, the consultancy offers trenchless rehabilitation (robot and inliner technology), pollution load calculations, infiltration systems, network calculations, general drainage planning, municipal information systems such as pipeline, road and indirect discharger registers, as well as services in water law. Planning is carried out computer-aided using the CAD system GEOvision (K2-Softwareentwicklung GmbH); bills of quantities and invoicing are processed with software from COSOBA GmbH. The eight-member team consists of five graduate engineers or Master of Science holders, two technical draftsmen and one technical clerk; freelance staff are available as needed. Clients are predominantly municipalities and municipal utilities in the Rhine-Main region, including Obertshausen, Seligenstadt, Dietzenbach and Riedstadt.
