About Knickmeier
Ingenieurbüro Knickmeier GmbH was founded in 1985 by Dipl.-Ing. Frank Knickmeier in Hüllhorst as an engineering office for automation and control technology. Initially, machine controls were developed and built using PLC technology; from 1989, engraving spindles with mechanical height scanning for the electrical engineering industry were added, manufactured in-house, alongside the design of CNC milling machines. Today the company develops and manufactures CNC machining machines, custom special-purpose machines and accessories, and supplies CAD/CAM systems including consulting, system selection and training. The CNC milling machines of the types K10, K3 and K1WitWT2 are aimed in particular at aluminium and plastics processing, for example for enclosure and profile machining. Since 2000, industry-specific solutions in CNC milling technology have been developed for medium-sized and large companies.
