About us
Ingenieurbüro OEHMICHEN GmbH, based in Taucha near Leipzig, is an independent design office specialising in gear and drive technology as well as plant and special machinery engineering. The three-person team of two graduate engineers and one technical draughtswoman develops, calculates and designs special and series gearboxes as well as mechanical engineering components in accordance with DIN, ISO, FEM, AGMA and KTA. The range of services includes gear tooth calculations for spur, bevel, planetary and worm gearboxes, recalculation based on customer drawings, redesign of TGL and third-party gearboxes, welded and cast constructions, FEM calculations, 3D scanning of cast components for reengineering, and the preparation of complete manufacturing documentation and operating manuals. For gearboxes in nuclear facilities, the office also prepares preliminary examination documents (VPU). In addition, the company provides supplier expediting with supplier inspections, schedule and quality inspections on site. Customers come from industries such as the steel industry, crane and conveying technology, extruder technology, test rig construction, agriculture, hydraulic steel structures, nuclear technology and electromobility.
