The engineering consultancy V-KON KG specialises in road and traffic planning. Its planning services include traffic analyses, design planning for intersections and roundabouts as well as professional visualisation of traffic planning projects. A key focus is the planning and construction supervision of roundabouts with bypasses in concrete construction, in particular using kerbstone adhesive technology: in this process, calibrated flat kerbstones are bonded with a 2-component plastic thin-bed adhesive onto pre-constructed concrete carriageways. The work performed can be carried out almost without any cutting effort. Customers include municipalities such as the city of Münster as part of road safety programmes, as well as construction companies and concrete stone works.
