About Oerlikon HRSflow
Oerlikon HRSflow (INglass S.p.A.) develops and manufactures hot runner systems for plastic injection molding. The company was founded in 1987 by Maurizio Bazzo near Treviso and originated in the construction of rotating multi-color and multi-component molds for automotive lighting lenses. Since 2001, the HRSflow division has been at the center: hot runner systems with patented technologies such as Fail-Safe equipment (dual heaters and thermocouples), the servo-driven valve gate system FLEXflow, and gate-free valve gate technology for direct PMMA injection and fiber-reinforced polymers. The portfolio is complemented by process monitoring control units (T-Flow, V-Flow), FIM film injection molding, SLM technology, and CAE analysis and pressure loss calculation. Materials processed include ABS, PP, PMMA, polycarbonate, R-PET, and fiber-reinforced polymers. Customer industries include Automotive (Lighting, Interior, Exterior, Underhood), Thin Wall Packaging, Medical, Household Appliances, Beauty & Personal Care, and technical applications. Production takes place at the Italian headquarters, at the Hangzhou plant in China, and since 2015 in Michigan (USA); since 2021 the company has belonged to Oerlikon. The HRSflow GmbH in Raunheim is responsible for the DACH region.
