About Inmox
Inmox GmbH is a deep-tech startup founded in Vienna in 2021, launched by two TU Wien graduates. The company develops a condition monitoring system for gearboxes and drive systems: a sensor installed directly in the lubricant circuit detects metallic wear particles using highly precise magnetic measurement and characterizes their size, material and quantity in real time – independent of lubricant flow rate and also with slowly rotating components. The data is transmitted securely to a cloud platform where machine-learning algorithms detect patterns, identify damage at an early stage, assign it to component groups and predict remaining service lives. Maintenance recommendations are delivered to the responsible personnel via dashboard, app or e-mail. The retrofit design enables easy integration into new and existing systems, complementing existing monitoring solutions. Target industries are aerospace, wind power/energy, shipping as well as industry and plant engineering. The cloud infrastructure is GDPR-compliant.
