About INNOCISE
INNOCISE GmbH, based in Saarbrücken, develops and produces microstructured gripping systems for industrial handling, based on the patented Gecomer® technology. Inspired by the gecko effect, components are gripped, held and placed using Van der Waals adhesion – without compressed air, vacuum, cables or electronics, and without leaving residues on the surface. The product portfolio includes manual gripping solutions, automated end effectors and specialized wafer handling pads such as the Warped Wafer Gripper, which can compensate for skewing up to 2° and height deviations up to 0.5 mm. The grippers handle objects from several meters in size down to micro-objects under 10 µm with an adhesion force of up to 1 kg/cm², including in cleanroom and vacuum environments. INNOCISE has the expertise to develop and manufacture microstructures on elastomer surfaces made from specialty polymers and offers rapid prototyping of custom pads with short lead times. Standard products are available via the company's own webshop; customer groups include electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, optics, photonics, aerospace and medical technology.
