About Innospec
Innospec Prüfsystem GmbH, based in Essen, specializes in radiation protection technology. The company plans, develops, manufactures and assembles radiation protection rooms for synchrotrons, protective rooms and material airlocks for industrial product testing, as well as custom components such as electrical and beam mazes (chicanes) and shielding for beamlines. The in-house engineering department also designs shielding for neutron sources and X-ray rooms. Production uses certified radiation-proof materials, including MAG and MIG welding processes for different materials. Customers come from research, medicine, industry and disaster control, including hospitals and research institutions. A process developed over 20 years ago using T-shaped cover profiles is now mandatory at most European synchrotrons. Innospec delivers across Europe and worldwide and supports projects from consulting through to service.
