Innotope is a spin-off of the University of Innsbruck founded in 2020 and based in Innsbruck, Austria. The company develops and produces complex chemical building blocks with a focus on nucleic acid chemistry. The portfolio includes 13C/15N/2H stable isotope-labeled RNA phosphoramidites and triphosphates for the production of tailor-made RNA oligonucleotides as well as heavy, naturally modified nucleotides and nucleosides as standards for mass spectrometry, with a focus on epigenetic modifiers. In addition, Innotope offers custom small molecule synthesis, custom synthesis of isotope-labeled RNA oligonucleotides, among other things for NMR assignment, relaxation and RNA modification studies, as well as Cellolyte, an NMR solvent for cellulose materials. The company operates as a catalog supplier and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) for academic research and industrial R&D departments.
