About innovation matters
innovation matters iot GmbH was founded in 2021 in Fritzens in Tyrol, Austria, and develops, produces and distributes software and hardware products for controlling electronic devices. The focus is on Smart Home and IoT solutions based on the Matter standard; the company is a member of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). With the M2D Bridge (Matter to DALI), it brought the world's first certified Matter product to market, followed by the Pushbutton Module. Through its Matter Bespoke service brand, the company offers electronics development, rapid prototyping, custom embedded firmware, design of injection-molded parts, production, sourcing and ODM as well as certification and compliance support (including ENEC, UL). Series production from small series through to ODM is carried out via a network of selected manufacturing partners, while design, firmware development and project management are located at the Fritzens site. In 2024, the company was awarded the Tyrolean Innovation Prize in the category Technical Innovation.
