Innovationsgesellschaft mbH, based in Stadthagen, is a consulting firm for innovation strategy, technology and knowledge transfer (WTT), innovation and project management, cooperation and network management, intellectual property rights and funding advisory. The company supports small and medium-sized enterprises from idea to implementation of product, service, process and business model innovations and mediates cooperations with universities, higher education institutions and research facilities. Since the EU funding period 2016, the company has held the service contract for SME consulting in Weserbergland+ (districts of Schaumburg, Nienburg/Weser, Hameln-Pyrmont and Holzminden); as of 1 March 2024, it prevailed in a Europe-wide tender for the funding period through presumably 2029. The methods employed include DRIVE, SWOT analysis, storyboarding, brainstorming, SCAMPER and design thinking. The two managing partners Stefan Tegeler and Dipl.-Ing. Manfred Schweer have many years of experience at the interface between science and industry.
