About us

Innovative CNC-Frästechnik Volker Mühsam is an owner-managed family business and craft enterprise based in Söchtenau in Upper Bavaria. Since its founding in 2000, the company has produced machined precision components using CNC milling (3-, 4- and 5-axis), CNC turning and turn-milling, complemented by cut-to-size blanks from aluminium rolled plate, vibratory finishing, ultrasonic cleaning and assembly. Production is mainly in aluminium as well as other metals, among others for customers from mechanical engineering, semiconductor technology, medical technology, aerospace and laser technology. The machine fleet includes, among others, machining centres from Hermle and Mazak with travel paths up to 2000 mm. Quality assurance is performed with coordinate measuring machines, optical measurement of smallest parts and roughness testing. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and EN 9100 and delivers via a globally networked courier service, and within a radius of 150 km with its own vehicles.
