About bruXane
Innovo Dent Solutions GmbH sells occlusal splints for the treatment of bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching) under the bruXane brand. The splints combine a dental splint with biofeedback technology: when grinding activity occurs, they alert the wearer subconsciously to the teeth grinding through gentle vibration and a humming tone. According to the manufacturer, this reduces the number and duration of grinding events by an average of about 75 percent and protects teeth, jaw joint and implants. The individually fitted version bruXane personal is produced by 3D printing from soft splint material following a full-mouth scan or impression taken at the dentist; the electronics unit has a lifespan of at least two years. The one-size-fits-all bruXane 2go with metal wire for adjustment and battery (lifespan approx. 8 weeks) is to be introduced in autumn 2026. Distribution is through dentists and dental laboratories; treatment success was examined in a study by LMU Munich. The company is headquartered in Marburg.
