About INOS Automation

INOS Automationssoftware GmbH is a systems integrator for industrial machine vision, robotics and automation technology, founded in Stuttgart in 1997. The company, with around 50 employees, develops and integrates machine-based vision systems for tasks such as best-fit robot guidance, 2D/3D position recognition, gap and flush measurement, 3D inline metrology, weld seam inspection, assembly control as well as palletizing, depalletizing and bin picking. The systems combine sensor technology, real-time data analysis and proprietary software platforms with algorithms based on AI and machine learning, and are integrated into production lines as turnkey solutions – from concept development and virtual commissioning through implementation to training and lifecycle support. Core industries are automotive, intralogistics, metal processing and industrial manufacturing; among others, INOS supports the BMW Group with best-fit systems achieving an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm. In total, more than 1,000 systems with over 10,000 sensors have been realized, in operation in more than 25 countries. In addition to its headquarters in Stuttgart, the company maintains a branch office in Athens.
