Emergency and Safety Lighting from Ense-Höingen
INOTEC Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company founded in 1995 and headquartered in Ense-Höingen (North Rhine-Westphalia), specialising in emergency and safety lighting. The company develops and produces its entire portfolio in-house at its headquarters, including decentralised emergency lighting systems of the CLS-FUSION series, central battery systems of the CPS series with patented JOKER technology (combined operation of maintained, switched maintained and standby lighting), single-battery luminaires, safety and escape sign luminaires, and the dynamic escape route guidance system D.E.R. Manufacturing is 'Made in Germany': components are produced by long-standing partners from the region, while final assembly and testing take place at the Ense site. With around 420 employees and 15.000 m² of production, warehouse and office space, INOTEC manufactures approximately 7.700 emergency lighting systems and approximately 536.000 luminaires per year. The company operates an in-house test centre, a test laboratory for CE conformity testing and a lighting laboratory with a near-field goniophotometer for photometric measurement. In addition to four national sales centres (Pinneberg, Potsdam, Nördlingen, Ense), INOTEC is active through representatives and trading partners in Europe and the Middle East, including its own subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates.

Quality and Testing
In the in-house test centre, test laboratory and lighting laboratory, development-accompanying measurements, CE conformity tests as well as EMC and ingress protection tests are carried out. At every workstation in luminaire manufacturing, a high-voltage, earth conductor and functional test is performed; instead of sampling, every unit is tested and documented on in-house developed test cabinets, supplemented by photometric measurements with a near-field goniophotometer and a 60-month manufacturer's warranty.
