Inpeco is a system manufacturer specialized in lab automation for in vitro diagnostics (IVD). The company develops, manufactures, installs and distributes instruments and software for the traceability and automation of diagnostic processes. The portfolio includes the Total Laboratory Automation systems FlexLab and FlexLab X, the sample collection automation ProTube Suite with 100% sample traceability, and FlexPath solutions for the automated archiving of FFPE tissue blocks in anatomic pathology. Manufacturing takes place at the Val della Torre plant (Turin, Italy) with over 27,000 m² of floor space and more than 400 employees; mechanical machining, assembly, operational software development and testing as well as commissioning at the customer's site are performed there. Research and conceptual development are based at the headquarters in Novazzano (Ticino), with further development sites in Pula/Cagliari (Sardinia). Customers include clinics, hospitals and laboratory companies; over 2,800 installed automation systems in 78 countries demonstrate the international reach.
