Power Solutions since 1997
inpotron Schaltnetzteile GmbH develops and manufactures custom switch-mode power supplies and power solutions at its headquarters in Hilzingen in the four-country region around Lake Constance. The portfolio includes AC/DC and DC/DC converters, UPS systems and chargers in the power range from 0,5 W to 3 kW, realized as open PCB, open frame or fully assembled units. The company takes on the entire value chain for its customers, from consulting through development, design and prototyping to purchasing, production, logistics and repair service over the entire product life cycle. This also includes custom-made housings made of aluminium extrusion profiles, sheet metal, plastic as well as zinc and aluminium die-casting, plus Smart-Coating coating with 3M Novec EGC-1700. Every power supply undergoes unit-by-unit inspection with in-house test systems for EMC, climate, safety and functional testing. Since its founding in 1997, more than 12 million power supplies have been produced; series production amounts to around 580,000 power supplies per year with around 510 active products. The industries range from industrial, LED lighting, telecommunications and media technology to building systems engineering as well as transport and traffic.
