About INR SA
INR SA is a Swiss plastics processor based in Moutier in the Bernese Jura, which since 1985 has manufactured technical plastic parts in small and medium series of 50 to 1,000 parts per year. The 15-employee company masters low-pressure injection moulding of polyurethane resin (RIM), vacuum casting of elastomer and silicone parts, manual thermoplastic injection moulding, hand lay-up and prepreg processes with polyester and epoxy resin, as well as plastic sheet working in PMMA, PETG, polycarbonate and PVC. Products include cowls, covers, gaskets, panes and technical parts, including painting, marking, electronics encapsulation and the assembly of complete assemblies. The main customer groups are medical and laboratory equipment, special machinery and machine tools, electronics, rail technology, automotive and aerospace. RIM parts are cast in epoxy or aluminium moulds, and inserts can be overmoulded; the thermosets used are UL 94 V0 certified, and for rail transport the standards DIN EN 45545-2 and DIN 5510 are met. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and supplies the European market.

Materials and Processes
RIM low-pressure injection moulding PUR
Two-component polyurethane in epoxy or aluminium moulds, quantities from 10 pieces per batch, technical properties close to ABS, UL 94 V0.
Thermosetting polyurethane (PUR), UL 94 V0
Thermosetting material for cowls and technical parts, with flame-retardant certification.
Silicone and elastomer resin
For vacuum casting with different hardness levels, among other things for gaskets.
Hand lay-up (polyester + glass fibre)
Contact casting process with gel coat for large, structured composite parts of up to several square metres, up to approx. 200 parts/year.
Prepreg (epoxy resin fabric)
Pre-impregnated fabric for reproducible composite parts with higher production capacity than hand lay-up.
RTM
Resin Transfer Moulding for composite components in small series.
PMMA (acrylic glass)
For plastic sheet working and milled/formed panes without mould costs.
PETG (polyester)
Sheet material for cutting, bending, gluing and 2D/3D shaping.
Polycarbonate (PC)
For mould-pressed glazing and cowls with high impact strength.
PVC
Sheet material for plastic sheet components without mould costs.
Polyester casting
Composite casting process for body and cladding parts.
