About Inselseifen
Inselseifen is a sole proprietorship based in Sassnitz on the island of Rügen, run by owner Anke Brüdgam. The company produces handcrafted soaps in artisanal manufacturing without power-intensive machinery. The products are made with, among other things, original Rügen rapeseed oil, Rügen healing chalk from nearby extraction, organic oils such as coconut, almond and peach kernel oil, mango butter, shea butter and essential oils; sheep's milk, sea buckthorn oil or amber are also processed in some products. The range includes, in addition to soaps, shower soaps, shampoo and shower gel, shower and bath butter, body scrubs with sea salt, bath salts, bath bombs, deodorant and care creams as well as dishwashing soap. Many products are vegan, palm oil-free or of organic quality; individual items are labelled as certified natural cosmetics. The products are sold in the retail store at Hauptstraße 10 in Sassnitz and via the company's own online shop with shipping within Germany.
