About instrAction
instrAction GmbH develops and produces selective absorber resins based on iA technology (Intelligent Absorber) for the removal of PFAS, heavy metals, bacteria and other contaminants from water. Having emerged from pharmaceutical research and development, the company has evolved its purification expertise into an absorber platform for complex water challenges. The resins are engineered at the molecular level to specifically detect and bind certain contaminants while preserving health-relevant elements such as calcium and magnesium. Trademarks include MetCap® and BacCap® as well as the patented PFAS filter technology. Together with partners such as filbec and Carbonit, filter cartridges are created, for example a carbon block with nanofibers (pore size 0.3 µm) combined with iA absorber technology. Fields of application range from point-of-use drinking water filtration to municipal and industrial water treatment and the recovery of precious metals from wastewater. The company has been headquartered in the Technology Park Heidelberg since 2020.
