INSYS icom develops and produces industrial communication solutions in Regensburg: routers, gateways, the icom Connectivity Suite (iCS) VPN platform for secure remote maintenance, and the device and user management solution icom Router Management (iRM). The MRX.neo product family (modular, with interchangeable and expandable MRcards for 5G, WiFi 6, Fiber and LTE450) and MOROS.neo (Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 6 and 4G) are aimed at industrial and critical infrastructure (KRITIS) applications. IT security is part of the solution from the very start – from hardware and operating system through to encrypted communication; development is certified to IEC 62443-4-1. Target industries include mechanical engineering, the energy sector (wind, solar, smart grids, gas networks, LTE450 for critical infrastructure), water and environmental engineering, and building services (HVAC systems). The offering is complemented by services such as configuration consulting, support, a 30-day free trial and certificate rollouts. Partnerships exist, among others, with Panasonic Industry (2G migration) and Softing Industrial (certified partner).
