INTEC GmbH is a German specialist for elevator control systems and elevator modernization, headquartered in Gerichshain near Leipzig. The company is engaged in the research, development, production and installation of elevator control systems and associated components such as control boards, car position indicators, operating terminals and safety circuits. Since 2008, an additional focus has been on the modernization and partial modernization of existing elevator installations; since the start of this activity, more than 4,000 elevator installations have been modernized. Hardware and software are developed entirely in Germany. The MLC-8000 control platform can be used for simple installations as well as for group installations with up to 64 stops and up to 8 elevators per group. Customers are elevator operators, planning offices and the elevator industry; the products are used, among other places, in Austria, the Benelux countries, Poland, Russia, China, Turkey, Egypt, Mozambique and Australia.
