About Intercable Tec
Intercable Tec is a company of the Intercable Group headquartered in Bruneck/South Tyrol and manufactures cable protection systems and cable connections for automotive, the motorcycle industry, commercial vehicles, charging infrastructure and energy storage systems. The product range includes tube cable lugs, battery terminals, cable lugs and connector systems; in the automotive sector the company operates as a Tier-2 supplier to wiring harness manufacturers. Core processes are plastic injection molding including overmolding of metal parts, multi-component parts and water injection technology, as well as stamping technology, electro-galvanizing and fully automated assembly. Around 1,300 tonnes of thermoplastic are processed annually; the machine park in Bruneck comprises injection molding machines with clamping forces up to 500 tonnes. The family business, founded in 1972 with production of technical plastic parts starting in 1988, employs 200 staff at the Bruneck site and maintains additional locations in Munich, Peine (Weitkowitz GmbH) and Southfield/USA as well as a stake in Bonomi Eugenio S.p.A. in Montichiari.

Quality
Quality is measured by first-article approval, scrap and complaint figures and is ensured through standardized test and work instructions. An in-house testing laboratory accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 with climate chambers enables tests from -70 °C to over 180 °C, including simulation of the original assembly.
