Cheese is our world
InterCheese AG, headquartered in Beromünster, is a cheese cellar and cheese partner for retail, gastronomy, wholesale, industry and export. The company manages over 400 different cheeses from more than 120 supplying dairies from all over Switzerland, including classics such as Emmentaler AOP, Le Gruyère AOP, Sbrinz AOP, Appenzeller and Tilsiter. In its own cheese cellar, the wheels are matured for up to 36 months, regularly cared for, turned and inspected. In the processing area, customer-specific formats are produced: portions, wedges, slices, cubes, blocks, grated cheese and blends, complemented by ready-made fondue and convenience products. Packaging is done as bags, trays, flow packs or deep-draw packaging, also as private label with recipe and packaging development to customer requirements. Around 100 employees work in the Minergie operating building constructed in 2010, which is one of the largest Minergie production buildings in Central Switzerland.
