About INTERFER
INTERFER Edelstahl Handelsgesellschaft mbH, headquartered in Karlsruhe, is an international steel trading group that has been active in the market since 1986 and is one of the most significant importers of bar steel into Europe. The product range includes bar steel (round, flat, square, rolled, peeled or forged), forged rings, hollow shafts and forged parts to drawing, wire rod, hot- and cold-rolled flat products as well as quarto plates. In addition, alloys such as ferrochrome as well as manganese and silicon alloys, graphite electrodes for electric arc and ladle furnaces including CNC machining to customer dimensions, and raw materials for steel production are distributed. All products are supplied to European Norm (EN) and other international standards. The group also offers a full service in logistics, transport insurance, customs clearance, import quota and CBAM-CO₂ management. With around 80 employees, nine locations in seven countries and group revenue of approximately €373 million (FY 24/25), INTERFER serves industries from mechanical engineering to automotive to oil & gas.
