About Kenneth Cobonpue

Interior Crafts of the Islands, Inc. (I.C.I) is a family business founded in 1972 by Betty Chen Cobonpue in Cebu, which develops and manufactures furniture for indoor and outdoor use under the Kenneth Cobonpue brand. The company combines modern industrial design with handcrafted production processes, in particular weaving techniques with rattan and other natural fibers. Since 1996, Kenneth Cobonpue, trained in New York, Italy and Germany, has led the company and shaped its design language. The product range includes seating, lounge and table furniture as well as commissioned and licensed collections, including the Star Wars Collection developed in 2018 together with the Disney Company Philippines. International clients include royal houses such as Queen Sofía of Spain and Queen Rania of Jordan as well as Hollywood personalities; designs by the company have appeared in films such as Ocean's Thirteen and Glass Onion. Production takes place at the Cebu site in the Philippines.
