About Intermetall Produkte AG

Intermetall Produkte AG (IMP) was founded in Lugano in 1977 and manufactures highly heat-resistant cast parts and components for the international market. The product range includes furnace rollers, radiant tubes, heat recuperators, cast trough and sieve plates, cast link belts, circulating fan wheels, muffles and retorts, grates and annealing fixtures, as well as riders and loading beams. The parts are cast from a wide variety of standard and in-house developed stainless steel alloys based on iron-nickel and cobalt, machined in-house, welded (MIG, TIG, electrode), assembled, inspected and delivered ready for installation. In addition to the casting operation, the company has its own design engineering department, a materials engineering laboratory and its own pattern shop, so that production to customer drawings is also possible. With the in-house developed LOYMAX materials, service life is improved and specific customer problems are solved. Customers come from industrial furnace construction, the steel industry, plant engineering, burner manufacturers, heat treatment shops, the cement and waste incineration industries, as well as trading; deliveries are made worldwide.
