About WayOut Robotics
WayOut Robotics (International Robotics Solutions SA) develops, builds and operates custom outdoor robotic solutions for industrial applications. The company specializes in mobile robotics platforms (UGVs) that, thanks to a patented, highly mobile chassis, can also handle rough terrain such as gravel, ledges and stairs, operate weather-independently to IP67, and, with extended battery options, remain in operation for over eight hours. The platforms feature autonomous navigation in complex indoor and outdoor environments, including GNSS-denied environments such as interiors, underground areas or urban canyons, as well as low-latency teleoperation for critical missions. A cloud-based Fleet Manager enables live monitoring with 3D mapping, RGB and thermal imagery, plus flexible routine programming with automatic docking and charging. The Multimodal Anomaly Detector combines six color and thermal imaging cameras with lidar for 360° inspection and surveillance. The company is the successor of Rovenso SA and participates in the CARMA EC Project on robotic firefighting reconnaissance.
