intra special catheters GmbH was founded in 1977 and develops, manufactures and sterilises special catheters and related accessories for medical technology. The product range includes arterial and venous Seldinger catheters, products for electrophysiology and vascular surgery, chest drains, accessories for pleural puncture, measurement and infusion, as well as special products such as systems for endovenous laser therapy. The catheters are used in anaesthesia, internal medicine, intensive and emergency care, cardiology, pulmonology, vascular surgery and electrophysiology, among other things for invasive measurement of arterial, venous and pulmonary pressures. Manufacturing is carried out in accordance with GMP, using exclusively materials of the highest purity and quality. New products are developed in cooperation with physicians from research, universities and clinical practice. The company, headquartered in Rehlingen-Siersburg, supplies customers worldwide.
