About INTRAVIS
INTRAVIS GmbH was founded in 1993 by Dr. Gerd Fuhrmann in Aachen and is today one of the leading providers of machine vision systems for the plastic packaging industry. At its headquarters in Aachen, the company develops and manufactures turnkey inspection systems for manufacturers of closures, preforms, bottles, thin-wall containers and decorated packaging. The systems inspect 100 % of production inline or offline for defects such as contamination, color and contour deviations, damage or incorrectly applied labels; non-destructive measuring systems also check EVOH barrier layers in PET preforms and containers. In addition to hardware, INTRAVIS develops its own machine vision software (IntraVision, IntraVisualizer) for defect detection and production statistics. Customer industries include food and beverages, cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceuticals and medicine, as well as household and industrial chemicals. The company employs more than 200 staff in Germany and the USA, plus service offices worldwide, and offers maintenance, 24/7 support, training and spare parts supply.
