About Intro PS
Intro Projekt und System GmbH & Co. KG (Intro PS) has specialised since 2003 in the design and manufacture of machine frames, machine claddings and machine enclosures made from sheet metal. The company supports customers in mechanical and special-purpose machine engineering across the entire process: from concept through design, engineering and calculation with simulation to prototype construction, series production including assembly and a logistics concept. The manufactured sheet metal systems consist of a large number of individual parts with dimensions of up to 4 x 2.5 x 2.5 metres and a weight of up to 2 tonnes. Production is predominantly in steel, partly in stainless steel; the surfaces are refined by powder coating. The manufacturing processes also include edge bending and folding of formed parts as well as welding of welded assemblies and industrial bonding. The systems protect sensitive components, improve ergonomics and give machines a professional, brand-consistent appearance. The company employs 51 to 200 staff at its Cochem (headquarters and production) and Koblenz locations.

Materials and Processes
Steel
The predominant material of the sheet metal systems, refined by powder coating.
Stainless steel
Used for demanding sheet metal claddings and machine enclosures.
Edge bending/Folding
Manufacture of formed and bent parts, also as a substitute for welded assemblies.
Welding
Manufacture of welded assemblies from steel sheet.
Industrial bonding
Sophisticated joining process in mechanical engineering, among other things for cladding systems.
Powder coating
Surface finishing of the sheet metal systems, which are predominantly made of steel.
