Furniture joinery and manufacturing workshop from Leipzig
Founded in Leipzig in 1993, INUMA GmbH is a family-run furniture joinery and manufacturing workshop for custom interior fit-out and series furniture production. The company produces furniture and interior fittings, from one-off pieces and special production runs through to series production, for example for hotel rooms, offices, retail branches, showrooms, museums and the gastronomy sector. Production combines digitised industrial processes with craft-based workmanship; the project workflow from CAD, IMOS and OSD planning to production is fully digitised and integrated via machine connectivity. Materials processed include wood from Europe, panel materials such as decorative panels, MDF and chipboard, HPL, glass, metal, stainless steel, mineral material as well as linoleum and felt, complemented by partnerships with fabric and upholstery specialists. Across 4,200 m² of production space plus 600 m² of its own paint shop, the service portfolio covers shop drawing, site measurement, production, painting and assembly. Customers include storemore Selfstorage, Stadtwerke Schkeuditz, Lecos, Vollack and the Künne Immobilien Gruppe; INUMA is also a long-standing supplier to the trade fair construction industry.

Materials and processes
Wood (European)
Only woods from Europe are used; short transport routes and heating with a wood waste combustion system reduce resource consumption.
Decorative panel (Egger)
Material for fronts, carcasses and wall designs, e.g. in series production for storemore.
MDF
Among other things, processed with coloured lacquer finishes in the company's own paint shop.
Chipboard
Used for carcasses, plinths and privacy screen constructions.
HPL (Fundermax)
Surface layer for worktops, shelf units and plinth areas.
Stainless steel (V2A)
V2A sheet steel is processed, for example, for applied logo elements.
Glass
Material in the interior fit-out material mix.
Metal
Processed in furniture and interior fit-out constructions.
Mineral material
Complements the material diversity in furniture making.
Linoleum (Forbo Desktop)
Used as a table inlay, e.g. on the counter of the StoreMore self-storage unit.
Felt
Used for wall design elements, partly with indirect LED lighting.
