About Inventux
Inventux Solar Technologies (initially Inventux Technologies AG) was a solar company headquartered and manufacturing in Berlin-Marzahn. The company was the first European manufacturer to produce micromorph thin-film solar modules in series. The tandem modules consist of an amorphous (a-Si) and a microcrystalline (µc-Si) silicon layer on a glass superstrate. Production included the deposition of TCO front and rear contact layers via LPCVD, the deposition of the active absorber layers via PECVD, and the monolithic interconnection of the solar cells by laser ablation. In addition to modules, Inventux offered mounting systems (including the flat-roof mounting system fiXflat), inverters and cabling, as well as complete systems for photovoltaic installations. Following insolvency proceedings, the company was dissolved in 2014.
