About Invert Robotics
Invert Robotics provides robot-assisted inspection of critical industrial assets with patented climbing robots that use vacuum, magnetic or hybrid adhesion to operate on smooth, non-ferromagnetic as well as ferromagnetic and coated surfaces – even upside down and in hard-to-reach areas. The platforms carry modular NDT payloads: Remote Visual Inspection with 30x optical zoom, Ultrasonic Testing (UT, compatible with Olympus 38DL Plus), high- and low-voltage Spark/Holiday Testing, and Laser Surface Profiling with 3D point clouds. This documents wall thicknesses, corrosion, coating damage and micro-defects down to 65 µm – without confined-space entry by personnel. Customers receive structured, comparable-over-time inspection data as well as a turnkey solution comprising inspection, report, data, recommendations and repairs, complemented by the AI data platform Invert Atlas™. Application areas include vessels, silos, pipelines and airframes in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy and aerospace industries. The European site is located in Dublin (Ireland); deployments take place across Europe, in North America, Oceania and worldwide.

Technologies & Inspectable Surfaces
Vacuum adhesion (V-Series)
Climbs on all smooth non-ferro materials without external air or vacuum systems, setup in under 30 minutes.
Magnetic adhesion (M-Series)
For ferromagnetic, coated surfaces such as carbon steel from 6 mm wall thickness and coatings up to 3 mm, including 90° transitions.
Hybrid adhesion (H-Series)
Two independent adhesion methods for magnetic as well as coated, glass-lined and stainless steel surfaces.
Remote Visual Inspection
Camera with 30x optical zoom, 1080p/30 fps and integrated lighting detects 65-µm defects up close and 2-mm defects from over 10 m distance.
Ultrasonic Testing
Wall thickness measurement, B-scans and weld inspection including area grid mapping, directly compatible with Olympus 38DL Plus.
Spark / Holiday Testing
High- and low-voltage testing of painted, glass-lined or coated pipes and vessels for pinholes, cracks and thin spots.
Laser Surface Profile
2D high-resolution scan generates 3D surface profiles with a reference resolution of 4 µm for measuring dents, scratches and pitting.
Custom Payloads
Customer-specific NDT sensors for special inspection requirements.

Quality
The platforms are certified, redundantly adhering multiple times (safe even in the event of a power failure) and meet visual inspection certification standards. UT data acquisition is performed using industry-standard devices (Olympus 38DL Plus) with a position encoder for reproducible measurements.
