About Inxpect
Inxpect is a technology company founded in 2015 and headquartered in Brescia (Italy), specializing in the development and manufacture of safety radar systems for industrial automation and robotics. The FMCW radar sensors of the Series 200 operate in the millimeter-wave V-band at 60 GHz and create virtual 3D safety zones for access detection, presence detection (muting/restart interlock) and collision protection, among others for robot cells, overhead cranes and autonomous handling systems (AGV/MIR). The sensors are insensitive to interference such as light, dust, smoke and production debris and are certified according to IEC TS 61496-5 as well as SIL2/PLd. The portfolio includes associated safety control units with PROFIsafe, FSoE, CIP Safety, Modbus and USB as well as ruggedized variants for harsh environments, complemented by configuration and validation software (Inxpect Safety Studio / Inxpect Safety Application). Inxpect maintains branches in Germany (Heßdorf), North America (Milwaukee) and China (Beijing) and distributes through an international distributor network. Key figures: more than €25 million in raised funds, more than 10,000 installations and over 22 active patent families.

Quality & Certification
The Series 200 safety radar sensors are certified according to IEC TS 61496-5 and rated SIL2/PLd; selected products are UL-listed. The S202A-MV and S202A-MS sensors support the solution for fulfilling EN ISO 10218-2; protection rating IP67, operating temperature -30 to +60 °C.

History
- 2015
Luca Salgarelli (CEO) had the idea of using radar technology for safety applications; Inxpect pools radar experts to develop intelligent radar sensors. Since then, €25+ million in raised funds, 10,000+ installations, 22+ active patent families and 20+ doctoral researchers in R&D.
