About Ionitec
Ionitec Anlagenbau GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of dedusting systems for biomass combustion plants based in Salzburg. Since 2003, the company has been developing dry plate electrostatic precipitators in the performance range of 0.2 to 15 MW, and since 2024 also bag filters in the range of 1 to 12 MW. Each filter is individually planned and engineered for the respective plant – from quote preparation through design and installation to commissioning and maintenance. Production, from assembly via preservation and insulation to loading, takes place at the partner company LMS Metall- u Stahlbautechnik GmbH in Wolfsberg (Carinthia). The filters are supplied primarily to manufacturers of biomass combustion plants throughout Europe; more than 550 electrostatic precipitators are in operation, over 50 of them in Switzerland, serviced by the subsidiary Ionitec Swiss GmbH in Matzendorf. Fields of application include district heating, process heat generators, the wood industry and all forms of wood combustion.
